Drake Street Closing Scheduled

The city of Fayetteville will close Drake Street between Garland Avenue and Gregg Street today for repairs to the railroad crossing near Garland. The street closing will begin at 6 a.m. today and remain in place until 2 p.m.

Brian Peterson, 31, of 1218 Lewis Ave. in Fayetteville was arrested Wednesday in connection with felony third-degree domestic battery and parole violation. He was being held in the Washington County Detention Center without bond Thursday.
