Military Briefs
Posted: August 9, 2009 4:44 a.m.Fundraiser to bring Marines home for a visit Concerned family and friends of the Marines in the 3/24 Tow Gunner Unit are having a fundraiser to help with travel expenses. The Marines are allowed a nine-day leave in September, before they deploy to Iraq. Due to the airline tickets being bought at the last minute, the cost is high for each of them. This fundraiser will help defray the cost for the 30 Marines living in this area.
